Compassion Partners
As a church, we love to connect with partners in the community who are tangibly being the hands and feet of Jesus. Our compassion partners go through a process to be voted in by our board to be supported both financially and voluntarily by the church.
If you are interested in bringing a new compassion partner to our community, contact Geri.
Kihavo
Kihavo exists to keep children out of orphanages and empower widows to support their families through farming, animal husbandry, crafts and small business. Widows and single mothers often feel the best way they can provide for their children is to send them to an orphanage where they will have better food, housing, and an education. The Widow’s Might works each day to keep children educated, keep families together, and share to our faith in Jesus.
You can help by visiting their website to sponsor a child ($30 /mo), make a one-time donation or shop the Widow’s Might Amazon store.

Genesis Community Cafe
Twice monthly we serve a hearty meal to families, veterans, and the homeless or under-resourced individuals in our broader community - both within and outside of Genesis. At each lunch we need volunteers from 10:30am-1pm to setup, serve the meal, visit with guests, and clean up. Kids are welcome! We also need meal sponsors for each lunch. Sponsors shop for ingredients, and prepare and serve the meal to our guests.
