Virtual Worship Services - Sundays @ 10am

Current Series - Around the Fire

(Beginning October 9th)

We want to encourage our community to be missional and invite neighbors, friends, and co-workers around a fire to build deeper relationships. We will offer fun questions to help naturally break the ice, so you can get to know them and hear their stories. As a reminder, please be safe and follow the social distancing recommendations.

Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement. It's a day set aside to make a difference in the world around you. In this year of uncertain times, Genesis strives to continue serving our community and world. Genesis has several compassion partners: The Community cafe, South Oakland Warming Shelter, African Christian Ministries, Friendship House, and Camp Lael, to name a few. Visit our website to learn more about our compassion partners https://www.genesisthechurch.org/compassion-partners. CDC Christmas Store 11/15-12/9

Central Detroit Christian Community Development (CDC) is hosting a Pride for Parents Christmas Store, where they sell gifts to low-income families for 70%-90% off the retail price. Doing this provides parents with a sense of self-sufficiency and the ability to give their children gifts that would otherwise be out of financial reach. How can we help?! CDC will serve between 100-125 families this holiday season and needs approximately 50 packages of underwear for children, women, and men.

*The underwear should be new and in the packaging; Approximate cost is $5-10 per package. Shop via this Amazon Wish List link (to arrive no later than 12/9), or drop off packages in the bin marked "CDC Christmas Store" outside the parking lot entrance at Genesis. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1T0YI4Q4PQ1EP?ref_=wl_share
